About the Rovers

Barnstonworth Rovers Football Club is Manhattan's top amateur soccer club. We currently have a roster of over 175 players, and field six mens teams and two womens teams. Through our existence we have had players from all over the world - Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Hungary, Greece, Serbia, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Thailand, most states of the USA, and even a few Canadians.

We are a social club as much as a soccer club - our primary sponsor is the Galway Hooker bar on East 36th St between 5th and Madison, and our Tuesday-night training sponsor is Bayard's Ale House on Hudson St at Charles St in the Village.
