Randall’s Island reconstruction administration conspired to stop the Rovers from sealing their 2nd round spot by 30 mins when the lights at the stadium failed to turn on ! The islanders scored in their first foray in the Rover with a tap in in the far post. Rovers 0-1. Then normal service resumed as Colin tied the tie with a well taken penalty, and Pugli shortly afterwards put the Rovers ahead with a clinical finish inside the box. Rovers 2-1. It should have been 5-1 by the time seeing the ball become the main issue, but a couple of bad touches in the area kept the Rovers from pulling away. What will happened with the other 30 mins, nobody knows.
