The Reserves have started and played 2 matches short-handed this season. They are the only 2 matches they have won this season, coincidentally with the same score. Sunday the 10 Reserves, without a keeper, did the business, even after falling behind early 1-0 to this very bad LISFL team. Most intriguingly the Reserves win coupled with the 3rd win earlier on Sunday sets up a Rover vs Rover 2nd round cup tie on November 16 !!!
The match does not merit commentary other than to praise the work ethic of the 10 players, and that they actually played football shorthanded. They made the opponents chase the ball all over the park and it was the telling difference. Yannick got 2, Stavros another 2, Stash, Carabano and Simon rounded up the scorers.
