BRFC 2008 Awards Night

Here are some pictures I took of the awards night. You're a bunch of annoying drunk pricks.

I did like MJ's Froot Loop dress. Cereal is hot.

A Rover (Ladies) in the Olympics

Dear Rovers,

Here's a link to a Rover alumna who is now representing the US in sailing at the Beijing Olympics. Her name is Sarah Mergenthaler. Great gal. Great player.

http://olympics.ussailing.org/The_Team/Sarah_Mergenthaler.htm

Below is some info for those who would like to send our Olympian Sarah some love before she hits the course:

GoodLuckTeamUSA@ussailing.org.

Whether you’d like to mail one sailor or the whole team, just send an email to this address. This new forum is a chance to express your support directly to our sailors in Qingdao, so spread the word and wish the sailors good luck

Sincerely,
Jake

Barnstonworth Premier + Guests Win Soccer Resort Mens Open tournament

Barnstonworth Premier team put on a convincing display on Sunday August 2nd to win the Soccer Resort Men's 8v8 Open Tournament. Seeded in Group C (supposedly with 3 other over 30 teams) - Barnstonworth Premier was dominant in the group stages racking up goals and dominating opponents to finish with a 3-0-1 record 17 goals for and 3 goals against to lead the group. Premier romped over Nags Head in the finals with an 8-0 rout to collect the tournament trophy. Nags head started off the final as the stronger of the 2 teams pouring the pressure in the first 5 mins of the game and threatened to score until Premier's Nedgy Nazon and Peter Best each scored 2 quick counter attack goals in the following 10 mins to effectively end the contest. The rest of the game turned out to be happy hour with Peter and Nedgy going tit for tat in scoring to finish off the goal fest.

Nedgy Nazon picked up the Golden Boot with a tally of 10 goals followed by MVP Peter Best 8 goals and 5 assists.

Special thanks to the other Rovers for helping to complete the squad and providing the much needed firepower and solid defense.
David Schlatter (3rd Team)

The Premiers welcome back Anders Moberg (coming back from Paternity Leave), and welcome aboard 3 exciting new prospects Kevon (Coco T) Thompson, Yuki (Kamikaze) Tominaga and Brent "The Finisher" Lyons clearly showing that no one's space is gauranteed on the roster for this upcoming season.
