Not only did they dominate the match throughout the 90 min – only one team was ever going to win this match – but also displayed great patience. They endured a scoreless first half and some, missing many chances, until Vidar broke the deadlock at the far post in the 70th. Rovers 1-0.
Pugli quickly made it 2-0 with a typical finish inside the box, before Sammy finished off the demoralized past league champions for his first, 1st team goal. Rovers 3-0.
