well - i lied when i said last time that i'd have a winning match report for this game - quite the opposite infact : we were gubbed 6-1 by the 2 time reigning champions Pele Masters...they are a really bloody good football team!
the score flatters them somewhat as they had 6 chances and scored them all - we had at least that many and managed only 1 from new striker Paul who earlier after rounding the keeper somehow managed to hit the post instead of the empty net?
we have a ways to go still and our horror spring schedule continues this coming Sunday when we play the Kickers...a game in which we need to start collecting points or we will be in a relegation battle for the last 3 games.
the ref was a complete twaddle and Jason told him this in no uncertain terms at the final whistle earning himself a red card...oops!
i also got booked while i was linesman? and Olli had his usual mouthy fun with the oppo including telling some skinny guy with a doo-rag on that he was going to stomp him so hard he wouldn't be able to see?
anyway,goalscoring still our major issue and we better figure it out quick. cheers,MacKinnon
