Rovers 1 made do with pouring rain and a slippery ball to beat the Central Park Rangers White 2-0 in a high intensity game.

Special shout out to Shawn for having kept her goalie reflexes and made two superb saves - one which nearly cost her a couple of ribs - and to the one player who shall not be named but managed to clock 80 minutes of play reeking of tequila and vodka but without puking once.
R2D2 3 Fuel FC 1
On the other side of town, R2D2 produced one of its landmark solid performance to beat Fuel FC 3 to 1. The tally should have been hirer but the net proved a little elusive on the day.
Goals by Lindsay Nugent, Amy Fortunato and Darlene Estevez's shoulder (after being pushed by someone who was shoved by someone else).
For those who keep statistics, that's R2D2 11th win in a row.
Rovers 1 is off next weekend while R2D2 plays Appletown FC.
