Before the cup match 8 players - yes 8 – 5 Reserves, Zach the 3rds keeper and 2 players from the Premier over 30’s that had just arrived from their loss to the Greeks in the o’30’s division started and battled to a 2-0 deficit at halftime. They should have even got 1 or 2 goals had Austin and Yannick finished their clear cut chances. With a full completed in the 2nd half, the Rovers – a bad remnant of the team that competed for 2 successive league championships the last 2 seasons - pushed but could not muster enough quality to change the result. Yuri scored the Rovers consolation.
