I needed more than a few days to decompress after this match. Otherwise, I would have been spraying around the c word too much to describe the tactics and personnel of the Greek American Over 30 squad. With their dirty fouls, incessant complaining, they invariably get under your skin and get you off your game. The 3 red cards are an indication of the BS you have to deal with when you line up against these guys. Matches involving them must average at least 1 red card/game.

Marlon scored early on a well-placed shot and then they upped their tactics which resulted in two quick yellows for Narces and one of their big galoots. A huge trade-up for them resulting in 10 v 10 for much of the match. They equalized in the first half and it was 1-1 at the half.

The second half saw us self-destruct and the Greeks had much of the play and created many good chances. Emman was given a straight red for a hard foul that the ref claimed was a last man/professional foul. Not so at all. Moreover, they had done the business twice on Duane and Nedgy and no reds or even yellows were given in those cases. Thus, we had 9 v 10 for the final 15 minutes and unfortunately for us, the c***s (hint: Scotland's favorite euphemism) scored their winner just before the final whistle. These mofos have now beaten us the last two times we've faced them, but we'll have a chance to exact our revenge later in the season.
